Aerosil 200 is a hydrophilic fumed silica when used with epoxy or Polyester Resin as a thickening and thixotropic agent. May be used in conjunction with other additives such as glass bubbles and/or milled fibers to achieve additional structural properties.
Aerosil a strong, dense thickener mixed into epoxy resin when bonding tight wood-to-wood joints. Typically used for gluing scarf joints, puzzle joints, sheerclamps, rubrails, knees, compatible with other fillers such as woodflour. White in color
It is recommended no more than 1/2 part filler to 1 part of resin.
